Starium FZE, a subsidiary of BUA Group, is building a large-scale detergent factory in the industrial district at Alaro City, Lekki Free Zone in Lagos State, which, when completed, will provide jobs and opportunities for thousands of Nigerians. The laundry detergent market in Nigeria is one of the largest markets within the Household and Personal Care sub-segment, with an estimated market size of USD 3.73 billion in 2023, and the market is expected to grow annually by 12.76% from 2023 to 2026, according to Statista.
