David Waiyaki

David Waiyaki is Director of Business Development at Rendeavour, where he leads strategic partnerships, investor engagement, and capital development initiatives supporting the company’s large-scale urban development platforms across Africa.

With over 15 years of experience across international banking, wealth management, public sector leadership, and investment advisory, David has advised high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and corporate clients on capital deployment, investment structuring, and portfolio growth across multiple asset classes.

Prior to joining Rendeavour, he served as Associate Director – Wealth Management at TIW Capital Group in Nairobi and Dubai, advising ultra-high-net-worth clients on diversified investment portfolios across fixed income, private markets, and alternative assets. He also served as Director of Trade, Industrialization, Tourism, Investment and Cooperative Development for the Kiambu County Government, where he led initiatives to strengthen regional trade and attract investment.

David previously held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Standard Investment Bank. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from United States International University – Africa (USIU) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Kenya Methodist University.
