Yannick Kitambo

Yannick is a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience in urban development and strategic operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Yannick’s career reflects a steady career progression marked by vision, dedication, and a commitment to advancing sustainable urban growth across Africa. He has played a pivotal role in shaping Rendeavour’s presence in the DRC. Beginning as an interpreter and administrative assistant during the land acquisition phase of the Kiswishi City Special Economic Zone (SEZ), he quickly advanced to Office Manager, where he established Rendeavour’s Lubumbashi offices and ensured regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and institutional relations. In 2021, Yannick was appointed Operations Director, overseeing the Kiswishi SEZ’s development and co-leading the land acquisition for major industrial projects, including Varun Beverages (PepsiCo) and Congo Petrol. His leadership was instrumental in coordinating with public authorities, building strategic partnerships, and guiding investors through their setup in the SEZ.

Yannick graduated in 2011 with a degree in Political and Administrative Sciences from the University of Lubumbashi and immediately joined Rendeavour Group, Africa’s largest urban land developer.
