George Kapanadze

George is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience across Europe, Africa and the CIS. As a senior member of Rendeavour’s Investment Committee, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s investment strategy, sourcing and structuring capital from local and international investors and overseeing the full lifecycle of investment projects across Rendeavour.

In this capacity, he leads complex transactions, drives new product development and spearheads the implementation of Special Economic Zone programmes within company’s portfolio. In addition to his financial leadership responsibilities, George serves as Chairman of the Tender Evaluation Committee, ensuring strong governance, transparency and value optimisation across major procurement processes.

Earlier in his career, George held a range of senior financial leadership roles spanning start-up management, business transformation and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining Rendeavour in 2014, he worked with Renaissance Group and Renaissance Capital, supporting a diverse range of businesses across emerging markets. He also spent four years at PwC, specialising in audit engagements within the financial services and banking sectors.

George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University and is a Chartered Certified Accountant. He is based in Tatu City, Kenya.
