Lord Michael Ashcroft KCMG PC

Lord Michael Ashcroft KCMG PC is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in business both in the UK and internationally.

Throughout his career, he has led companies with workforces exceeding 100,000 people. In 2000, he was knighted and became a member of the House of Lords, where he is known as Lord Ashcroft of Chichester.

Lord Ashcroft is a Chairman at Ashcroft Technology Academy, a state secondary school in London. The school has been awarded with the Charter Mark, Investors in People and the School Achievement Award. In addition to his investment work in new companies and ideas, Lord Ashcroft is a prolific philanthropist and author with 17 books to his name, primarily focusing on politics and bravery.

Four of his books on gallantry have been adapted into television series. He obtained a Higher National Diploma in Business studies Mid-Essex Technical College (now Anglia Ruskin University where he also served as Chancellor). He lives in Chichester, England.
