Job description

Rendeavour is seeking to fill Real Estate Advisor positions for its operations in Nigeria. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a lead player in Nigeria’s premier new cities and Africa’s urban future.

Commercial and Industrial Development:

  • Assist the Commercial and Industrial Sales Manager to develop, structure and execute business development strategies with a view to attracting commercial and industrial off-takers to Rendeavour developments in Nigeria; with initial focus on the Lekki project;
  • Support the development of thematic business development and sales programs designed to create commercial and industrial sales opportunities;
  • Create and manage partnerships with strategic state institutions designed to position key Rendeavour developments as preferred investment destinations;
  • Explore and develop opportunities for joint ventures and strategic alliances with respect to commercial and industrial land; in line with overall sales and business development strategy for Nigeria
  • Support the Commercial and Industrial Sales Manager in developing and maintaining relationships with local and international financiers and service providers to enhance the service offerings of Rendeavour developments

Sales and Marketing:

  • Support Rendeavour’s go-to-market (sales and marketing) efforts for commercial and industrial property;
  • Identify and develop local and international sales leads;
  • Build and maintain strong long-term strategic commercial relationships with trade and industry associations, co-operatives and agents;
  • Assist the Commercial and Industrial Sales Manager to manage the entire sales process including client presentations, site visits, negotiations, closure and administration;
  • Liaise with the Commercial and Industrial sales manager in the Nigeria sales drive through ownership of the entire sales process including client presentations, site visits, negotiations, closure and administration;
  • Represent Rendeavour at conferences, seminars, trade shows and exhibitions to source leads and receive the latest industry information;

Business Development

  • Support Rendeavour’s efforts to develop new businesses tied to its real estate developments in areas such as power generation, power distribution, waste management and water distribution.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and experience

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in sales, marketing or business studies in a recognized institution would be an added advantage;
  2. At least 3 – 5 years of experience in commercial real estate sales or liaising with companies on real estate or business development matters;
  3. Logistics, warehousing, supply chain management, project management backgrounds will be an added advantage;
  4. Wide and productive network in Nigerian and international business circles; and
  5. Team leadership experience would be an added advantage;
